Year 5 had an exciting visit from the Full STEAM Ahead project. We were given a team challenge: to engineer a float made of only straws, paper and sellotape that would hold as many coins as possible without sinking. All the children showed great teamwork, and the winning team’s float carried 43 coins! They will be competing in a semi-final against other schools next month. Well done Year 5!
