In Science this week, Year 4 designed and created filters, to see how scientists might create filters which could be attached to washing machines to filter out microplastics. We learnt all about microplastics, how they damage our seas and ocean habitats and how they all can pollute other habitats as well. We tested different materials to see which would be the most effective.
