Our last writing unit has been poetry, focusing on acrostic poems based on own knowledge of the Benin Kingdom. At the start of the week, we looked at different examples of acrostic poems and grouped them into different themes to identify just how many topics you can write poem about. By the end of the week, we had written, edited and published our own acrostic poems using descriptive language to showcase our knowledge of the Benin Kingdom.
