This week, Year 1 had the first of their trips to the Dalston Curve Garden. The children thoroughly enjoyed meeting the lovely gardeners who tend to this wonderful local setting. The children explored the gardens, looking at all of the beautiful plants and flowers and asked great questions to strengthen their understanding. Additionally, the children designed their own Garden Journals, using a range of creative materials. Finally, they listened to a fantastic story about seeds and plants. Year 1 are really looking forward to returning to the Dalston Curve Garden and learning more from our superb hosts!
