As part of our learning about Walter Tull and his bravery in World War I, Year 2 created beautiful poppy paintings to remember those who fought in the war. The children explored the significance of the poppy as a symbol of remembrance and used paint to create their own striking poppy artwork. They carefully thought about colour, shape and composition, producing thoughtful and expressive pieces to honour this important part of history.
