This week, Year 1 have been enjoying reading and retelling the story Room on the Broom. They recognised other wonderful books written by Julia Donaldson and were excited to be reading another of her tales! We have been ordering sentences and sequencing what we remember from the story. We have LOVED sharing our ideas and working together to retell the story using key words and images to help us. A fantastic first week of Autumn 2 for the children in Year One.
