In Science and Sustainability Club, the children have learned that different foods and drinks are either acid or alkaline or somewhere in between. We used cabbage water as it changed a red colour if the food or drink was an acid and it turned a yellow-green colour if it was an alkali. The children enjoyed using plenty of scientific equipment including pipettes, funnels, beakers, measuring cylinders and more!
