In RE, year 6 have been learning about Buddhism. Last lesson, we learnt about the religious symbols associated with the religion. This lesson we learnt where these symbols came from and the story of the beginning of Buddhism. We thought deeply about the Buddhist teachings of suffering and these being rooted in greed, ignorance or hatred. We created causes and effects that we can see across the world where problems have been routed in one of these three issues.
