This week, Reverend Laura spoke to us about Pentecost. She explained that Pentecost is a special time when Christians remember how God sent the Holy Spirit to Jesus’ friends after He went back to heaven. The Holy Spirit helped them feel brave and full of joy, so they could go out and tell everyone about God’s love. It’s often called the Birthday of the Church, because it’s when the first Christians began to share the good news with the world!
