In our clergy collective worship this week, we spent time reflecting on Remembrance Day and honouring the many people who lost their lives in conflict. We heard John 15: 12-13 and considered the words: “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater Love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” We also reflected on the words of Psalm 23:4, thinking about how its message of courage, comfort and guidance can help us remember those who served and support us in facing challenges in our own lives.
