This week’s clergy collective worship focused on the story of The Persistent Widow (Luke 18:1–8). The story tells of a widow who kept asking a judge for justice until he finally listened to her. Through this parable, Jesus teaches us the importance of being persistent in seeking what is right and not giving up — especially when we know we are standing up for what is good and fair.
