This week the children have been looking at Australian Aboriginal Art. Firstly, we looked at the different techniques used and the patterns within Aboriginal traditional artwork. Afterwards, the children focused on improving the scale of their original outlines and then they used different colours to create wonderful pictures. The children were very proud to put the pictures on display in our classroom and they cannot wait to show them during the Year 1 Assembly after half term!
