This week in Reception Class, we have been map-making! We focused on the storybook ‘I like Trains’ by Daisy Hirst, in which the main character goes on a journey to his Granny’s via a train, then, arriving at his granny’s, draws a map of the journey! The class discussed our different journeys around our community. Then, children were challenged to draw a map of their journey to the church. When they’d finished, each group proudly shared their map with their peers! Well done, Reception – another busy week! Enjoy your holiday!
