On Tuesday, the children really enjoyed seeing Mattie the clown perform and hearing from him about the long history of the Clown Service. The service used to be held at Holy Trinity Church and is now held at All Saints Church, led our vicar, Rev. Laura. You can find more information about this here.
These fantastic photographs were taken by Neil Martinson, published Hackney photographer, who has been taking photos of life in Hackney for more than 50 years. He also kindly donated the pictures which are being exhibited in the entrance of the school and which capture the Clown Service over the last 50 years.
