As part of Science and Sustainability Week, Year 2 explored the fascinating world of seed and plant adaptations and turned their discoveries into works of art. Building on our recent work in Art with clay, we created clay pendants using rolling pins and cookie cutters, then pressing in real flowers, seed pods and leaves. We thought about how to lay out the plants and whether to press into the clay using flowers to leave impressions!
