This week, we have been investigating light in our Science lessons. We questioned how shadows are made and investigated this with torches. We realised that a shadow is made by an object blocking light. We then thought about different types of objects and whether they had a better shadow than others. We investigated this further by looking at transparent, translucent and opaque objects. We discovered that opaque objects had the best shadow because no light passed through them!
