This week, we have been exploring the remarkable story of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in out writing lesson. The story documents the treacherous journey encountered by both men as they strived to achieve their goal to reach the summit of Mount Everest. In preparation for our letter writing for this unit, we have been working as a class to develop and deepen our understanding of text specific vocabulary exploring feelings, thoughts and dangerous encounters through language.
